Product Description As San Francisco's most glamorous millionaires mingle at the party of the year, someone is watching--waiting for a chance to take vengeance on Isa and Ethan Bailey, the city's most celebrated couple. Finally, the killer pinpoints the ideal moment, and it's the perfect murder. Not a trace of evidence is left behind in their glamorous home.
As Detective Lindsay Boxer investigates the high-profile murder, someone else is found brutally executed--a preacher with a message of hope for the homeless. His death nearly falls through the cracks, but when reporter Cindy Thomas hears about it, she knows the story could be huge. Probing deeper into the victim's history, she discovers he may not have been quite as saintly as everyone thought.
As the hunt for two criminals tests the limits of the Women's Murder Club, Lindsay sees sparks fly between Cindy and her partner, Detective Rich Conklin. The Women's Murder Club now faces its toughest challenge: will love destroy all that four friends have built? The exhilarating new chapter in the Women's Murder Club series, The 8th Confession serves up a double dose of speed-charged twists and shocking revelations as only James Patterson can. And remember, this is the only Murder Club episode of the year.

Another Great Patterson Novel May 17, 2009 Bookster (Grover Beach CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I could open a bookstore with only books by Patterson. This book is no different than any others, it captures your interest on the very first page, reads fast, before you know it you have finished the novel leaving you wanting more. A must read, but then all his books are a "must read".
T's Eighth Confession May 18, 2009 Terrence D. Hopkins 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the 8th in the Women's Murder Club series and as usual it is great. All characters are as they have been in the past plus a few twists.
I'm not finished with the book yet so I don't know how it ends but I'm sure I'll enjoy it like the previous seven.
One of James's Best May 19, 2009 Heather Mulvihill (Pearl River, NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
One of James's best books in the WMC series I read in a long time, It took me only 3 days to finish thia book. All the awesome characters are back including a few new ones. I highly recommend this one if you are huge fan of James Patterson and his Women's Murder Club
Another good "book". May 21, 2009 Sheila C. Moll (Flint, MI) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The audio book was received very promptly and in NEW condition as promised. Thank you! This is another good audio book by James Patterson.
Lindsey Boxer does it again. May 22, 2009 Mary L. Lugin (Murrells Inlet, SC USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The "Murder Club" is a book I always look forward to. I love Lindsey and her pals, especially Claire. She's the matriach of the crew and her input is right on when it comes to solving the mystery. It was good that Conklin finally got a girlfriend in Cindy. He's wanted Lindsey for so long but it just wasn't meant to be. She belongs with Joe, another character that I love.
All in all, Patterson does it again in keeping me wrapped up in the story. A quick read and well done.
